Member of The Month: Hannah Burke

June 2026

This month, we're proud to celebrate a member whose comeback story is all about showing up for yourself. Hannah Burke returned to Body Renew eight months ago after a busy season of life and two kids, ready to rebuild healthy habits and try something new. With the guidance of her trainer Paul Norris and the encouragement of our community, Hannah pushed past her comfort zone, embraced strength training for the first time, and has the results and confidence to show for it. We asked Hannah to share a bit about her journey, and her words speak for themselves.

Hannah Burke — Member Testimonial

"When I came back to Body Renew eight months ago, after life had gotten busy and I'd had two kids, I didn't have super high expectations for myself, but I wanted to focus on reforming healthy habits. I had always leaned more toward cardio and had never really been interested in strength training, but I decided to give it a try. After a few weeks back, I realized I was still in the same routines I had been in years before, and I was nervous to try new things because I didn't want to do them incorrectly. I decided to do a few personal training sessions and ended up signing up with Paul. I figured I would do it for a few weeks and then just do it by myself, but once I started, I realized what a significant difference it really made to have someone who could help guide my fitness journey.

Within the first few sessions, I realized I had been using a lot of incorrect form, and by making small adjustments, I started seeing muscle growth and improvement almost immediately. Paul has had the perfect balance of encouraging me to do more when I let myself settle, but also helping me know when I need to take a step back and recover.

I feel like I have found a community in the gym as I've gotten to know the wonderful people who are a part of Body Renew. I've made new friends and love how supportive not only the staff is, but all of the members are as well. It's been so rewarding watching other people on their progress journeys, and it's encouraged my progress seeing how committed everyone around me is to becoming the best version of themselves. Something I've learned along the way is that progress isn't linear, and you can't get discouraged just because you aren't seeing the exact results you want right now, because they might be just around the corner, and being a part of a bigger community helps carry you through when you might want to give up."
